SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE ACTOR’S GANG (2) adapted from a press release at http://www.prnewswire.com/ :

Fundraiser events have included such events as a 2005 staged reading of “Impossible Boulevard,” adapted from the book 40 Lives-From Homelessness to Hope. The reading put a human face on homelessness and featured performances by Tim Robbins, Marisa Tomei, Don Cheadle, Eva Mendes, Alfre Woodard, and Tom Waits. “Impossible Boulevard” was hosted by Arianna Huffington and included a reception with the cast.  The box office proceeds were shared by The Actors’ Gang and OPCC, a Westside network of shelters and services for homeless youth, adults and families, people living with mental illness and battered women and their children.
