In the heart of Ybor City, a mysterious entity begins to influence the reader system used in the cigar factories, leading to the education of workers and rising tensions in the workplace. Following a shocking death in one of the factories, Nena, a grieving employee, emerges as the first female reader and reluctant leader of a revolutionary movement.

FIND YOUR LIGHT

Find Your Light is the culmination performance for our Saturday Classes for Teens participants directed by our team of teaching artists from The Actors' Gang Education Department. This talented cast of teen performers will guide you to finding your light on a comedic, yet meaningful, 30 minute journey of discovering inspiration, validation, and companionship. Performance will take place at The Actors' Gang Theater on March 22nd at 12:30pm.

IMPOSSIBLE TALES

Impossible Tales is the culmination performance for our Middle School After School Program participants directed by our team of teaching artists from The Actors' Gang Education Department. This creative cast of students will be embodying damsels in distress, heroes, villains, and wizards on an exploration of the world of fairy tales through movement and poetry. Duration of the performance is 30 minutes, and takes place at The Actors' Gang Theater on March 23rd at 12:30pm.

With a new theme each performance, you'll watch as a cast of quick-witted improvisers takes a beloved classic and gleefully smashes it to pieces, rebuilding it into a chaotic, hilarious, and wildly inappropriate new story.
