Training with us does not guarantee anyone will be invited into the company.

However, actors in these training sessions are asked to become company members on a case-by-case basis.

In our adult classes, we introduce our signature “Style” and ensemble approach. Based in the belief that important stories have important states of emotion, we work toward creating pure moments of truth on stage, using ensemble movement, generosity, trust, and emotional honesty. In the course of the eight-week class, our students are introduced to stock characters from the Commedia dell’Arte. Developed over the last 40 years by founding Artistic Director, Tim Robbins, and Cynthia Ettinger with roots in Théâtre du Soleil, Grotowski, Viewpoints, punk rock and popular culture. Our signature "Style" is used in all of our productions and outreach programs.
